Light Giver 19

And he who has entered was passing through the Fragrance of Himself ("Jericho").
And behold! a man he who is being summoned by a name of Clarity ("Zakkai") and he, himself was a head of the tax farmers, and himself, a rich one.
And he was searching to perceive the Salvation, who he is. And he was not able away from the Multitude because he was a little one in the Age.
And he who ran forward into the Front, he climbed up upon a sycamore-fig tree so that he might perceive himself, because that one he was destined to pass through.
εἰς τὸ ἔμπροσθεν - into the Front

מקום - standing place, position, spot (Point of View)
And just as he came upon the Position, he who has looked up, the Salvation said toward himself, "Clarity ("Zakkai") he who has made haste! Climb down, for today it behooves myself to remain within the Home of yourself!"
ὑπεδέξατο - assume charge, care, receive into one's house
And he who has made haste, climbed down and assumed care for himself,69b he who is rejoicing.
And those who have perceived, everyone was cooing/murmuring across, those who are saying that he entered close beside a man missing the mark, to tear down!
And he who has stood ready, Clarity, he said toward the Master, "Behold! the Halves of myself,70 of the ones which are pre-existing, Master, I am giving to the Beggars, and if I have falsely accused a certain one of anything, I am restoring fourfold!
And the Salvation said toward himself that Today, a salvation, she has become to the Household, this one, according as he is also a son of Father of Multitude ("Abraham")!
Darkness/Injustice 6th-9th hour
Herself quartered

For the Son of the Human came to search for and to save the one which has been destroyed away/perished!
And while they, themselves are hearing, he who has added these things spoke a comparison because of the Being Near of Himself to Foundation of Peace ("Jerusalem"), and thinking of themselves that immediately the Queen of the God is destined to appear.
He said therefore, "A man, a certain one well-born, he has led across into a far off place to take hold to his own self a queen and to turn back around.
Invest yourself in the second adam
And he who summoned ten born bondmen of himself gave to themselves ten minas and said toward themselves, invest yourself within him whom I am coming.
And the Citizens of himself were hating himself, and they sent away an ambassadorship behind himself, those who are saying, We do not want this one to reign over ourselves.
Investing in Her
And he became within the Returning of Himself, he who has taken hold of the Queen, and he spoke for the Born-Bondmen to be crowed to self, those ones to whom he had given the Silver, so that he might know who gained by investing in what.
προσεργάζομαι - to Augment
And the First One became beside, he who is saying, "Master, the Mina of Yourself, she has augmented/gained ten minas."

ἴσθι - be!
And he said to self, "Well done, good born bondman! Because within the smallest you have become a trustworthy one, be one who is holding an authority above ten cities!
And the Second One came, he who is saying, "The Mina of yourself, Master, she has made five minas."
γίνου - Become!
And he said also to this one, "Also yourself become on top of five cities!"
"Stored Away"
And the Other One came, he who is saying, "Master behold! the Mina of yourself who I was holding, she who is being stored away within a headcloth!
For I was fearing yourself because you are a harsh strict man; you are lifting up what you did not set down and you are reaping what you did not sow."
He is saying to self, "From out of the Mouth of yourself, I will separate yourself, pain-ridden born bondman! You saw that I, myself am a strict man, he who is raising up that which I have not set down, and he who is reaping that which I did not sow!
And on account of what did you not give the Silver of myself upon a table? Even myself, he who has come jointly with offspring might have accomplished self!
And to the ones who have stood by said, "Lift up away from himself the Mina, and give the Ten Minas to him who is holding!
And they said to self, "Master, he is holding ten minas."
I am speaking to yourselves that to everyone who is holding she will be given, but away from the one who is not holding even what he is holding will be lifted up.
Making Room by Slaying the Adversary in Front
With exception to the Hated Ones of myself— lead these ones, the ones who have not desired for myself to be king upon themselves, in here and slay themselves in front of myself.
And he who has said these things was leading across in front, he who is climbing up into Foundations of Peace ("Jerusalems").
And he became just as he drew close into House of Unripe Figs and House of Misery, toward the Mountain, that which is being summoned of olive trees, he sent away two of the Learners.
He who is saying, "Bring under into the Opposite unwalled village, within whom those who are entering, you will discover a young colt, he who has been bound in chains, upon whom no one of humans at any time ever sat down. And those who have unbound himself, lead!"
And if anyone of yourselves is asking, "For what reason are you unbinding in this way?" You will speak like this: "Because the Master of himself is holding a need!"
And those who have gone away, the ones who have been sent away, they discovered according as he spoke to themselves.
A born bondman of Wrong Masters
And while they, themselves are unbinding the Young Colt, the Masters of himself said toward themselves, "Why are you unbinding the Young Colt?
And the ones said that the Master of Himself is holding a need.
ἐπεβίβασαν - cause to embark, board
And they led himself toward the Salvation, and those who have thrown upon the Outer Garments of themselves upon the Young Colt, they caused the Salvation to embark.
And while he, himself is traveling across, they were spreading/strewing under the Outer Garments of their own selves within the Road.
And while he, himself is drawing near already toward the Descent71 from the Mountain of the Olive Trees, all of the Multitude of the Learners, those who are rejoicing, began to praise the God with a mega voice around all the powerful ones whom they perceived,
those who are saying, "He who is good spoken, the one who is coming, the King within a name of Master within a heavenly one, a peace and a glory within the highest!"
And a certain ones of the Separatists away from the Multitude said toward himself, "Teacher, honor the Learners of Yourself."
And he who has been separated said, "I am speaking to yourselves, if these ones will keep silent, the Stones will caw out!"
And just as he drew near, he who has perceived the City, he wept over herself.
Hidden in a Field, That A Man Found...
He who is saying that if only you recognized within the Day, this one, even yourself, the things toward a peace! But
now
, she was hidden away from the eyes of yourself!72
παρεμβολή - Interpolating "Tares" into the "Wheat"
Because days will come upon yourself, and the Hated Ones of yourself will insert/interpolate a palisade of stakes to yourself, and they will encircle all around yourself and they will confine yourself on all sides!

And they will flatten to the ground yourself and the Children of yourself within yourself, and they will not hurl away a stone against a stone within you, because of which things you did not recognize the Opportune Time of the Visitation of yourself!"
And he who has entered into the Sacred Place, he began to cast out the ones who are offering for sale.
He who is saying to themselves, "It has been written/drawn, And the Home of Myself, he will be a household of a prayer, but you, yourselves have made himself into a den of plunderers!"
And he was being him who is teaching the one day by day within the Sacred Place, and the High Priests and the Scholars, and also the First Ones of the People, were searching to destroy away himself.
ἐξεκρέμετο - was hanging down
And they were not finding the one who they might make, for the Entire People was hanging down from himself, he who is hearing.73

The verb ὑποδέχομαι, while classically denoting receiving or welcoming (especially guests or persons), also acquires the extended sense of undertaking responsibility or accepting a charge, particularly in legal, political, or administrative contexts.

In Thucydides (1.25; 1.71), ὑπεδέξαντο is used for assuming a punitive cause on behalf of another—“undertook vengeance”, or “promised aid”. This sense persists and formalizes in documentary Greek, where the term is used for accepting legal or financial obligations, e.g., the reception of dowries (Cod. Just. 5.17.12), tax grain (Sammelb. 5273.4), or administrative duties (Wilcken Chr. 469.5).

The verb is frequently followed by a future infinitive, marking an intentional act to be fulfilled (e.g., ὑπεδέξατο δώσειν, Od. 2.387), or appears in contexts where one pledges performance or assumes care (e.g., h. Cer. 226; IG 42(1).121.46). Thus, ὑποδέχομαι often bears the force not merely of passive reception but of active assumption of duty or contractual responsibility.

The Greek word ἡμίσιά is the feminine accusative plural form of the adjective ἥμισυς, ἡμίσεια, ἥμισυ (“half”), typically used as a substantive adjective—that is, standing on its own to mean “halves.”

The Greek noun κατάβασις (from καταβαίνω, "to go/climb down") denotes a descent or the act of going down. The phrase τῇ καταβάσει in the dative case indicates location or time, thus is best rendered as “in the descent” or “during the going down”. While some English translations may try to give the term as a “slope” or “decline,” this is interpretive and not literal.

The noun κατάβασις does not inherently denote a physical feature such as a slope but rather the motion or event of descending. Classical and Koine usage support this verbal-nominal interpretation, distinguishing it from terms like κατήφορος (downhill path) or κλίσις (inclination), which more directly refer to terrain.

The imperfect tense indicates an ongoing action or state in the past, while the middle-passive voice suggests that the subject is either the receiver of the action or involved in it in a passive manner. For example, ἐξεκρέμετο ἐκ τοῦ δένδρου would translate as "It was hanging down from the tree," signifying that something was in a state of suspension or hanging at that time.
