Acts of Sent Away Ones 6

1 And while they, the Learners who are multiplying within the Days, these ones, a complaining of the Outsiders²³ became toward the Beyond Ones ("Hebrews") because the Widows of themselves kept being overlooked within the Day by Day Agency.
2 And those who have summoned the Multitude of Learners near, the Two and Ten, they said, "It is not agreeable to ourselves, those who have left behind the Word of the God, to be agents/stand-ins for dining tables.
3 But observe, brothers, seven men from out of yourselves who are bearing witness, fully satisfied of a spirit and of a wisdom those whom we will set in place upon the Need, this one!
4 And we, ourselves will adhere closely to the Prayer and the Agency of the Word."

בחר bachur - chosen man

5 And the Word satisfied in the eye of all the Multitude, and they chose Wreathed ("Stephen"), a man fully satisfied of a trust and a holy spirit, and Horse Lover ("Philip") and Leader of a Round Dance ("Prochorus") and Victorious Man ("Nicanor") and Honorable ("Timon") and Constant Ally ("Parmenas") and Conqueror of the People ("Nicolas") a sojourner of Holding-Anti ("Antioch"),
6 those whom they set up in the eye of the Sent Away Ones, and those who exchanged prayers, they laid upon themselves the Hands.

πληθύνω - make multiple, ‘plurify’

7 And the Word of the God kept increasing/growing strong, and the Number of the Learners kept multiplying within Foundation of Peace ("Jerusalem") fiercely much; even a multitude of the Priests kept heeding/giving ear to the Trust.

Filled of the pure milk

8 And Wreathed ("Stephen"), a filled/satiated one of a kind one and powerful one, kept making wonders and signs, mega ones, within the People.

Cyrene the Huntress: "a champion in the leafy forest with lionslaying hands" (Nonnus, Dionysiaca 25. 180 ff)

9 And certain ones stood up from out of the Assembly, the one who is being called Freedmen ("Libertinos") and Cyrenians and Men-Repellers ("Alexandrians") and the ones away from Coarse Goat Cloth ("Cilicia")²⁴ and Titaness ("Asias"), those who are jointly investigating with the Wreathed ("Stephen").
10 And not they were not strong enough to stand in opposition to the Wisdom and the Spirit by which he kept chattering.
11 At that time, they threw underneath men, those who are saying that "We have heard himself, he who is uttering blasphemous sayings into Drawn Out ("Moses") and the God,
12 They stirred up both the People and the Elder Ones and the Scholars and those who have assailed snatched together himself and led into the Joint Sitting Council,
13 and they stood up false witnesses, those who are saying, "The Man, this one, does not stop chattering sayings down against the Place/Position of the Holy One, this one, and the Usage!
14 For we have heard himself, he who is speaking that Salvation, the Protector ("Nazarene"), this one, will abolish/dissolve the Position, this one and will transform the Customs which Drawn Out ("Moses") handed over to ourselves!"
15 And those who have looked intently into himself, all the oens who are sitting down within the Joint Sitting Council, they perceived the Face of himself, as it were, a face of an angel.
