Genesis 38:8

And Cast is saying to Powerful, `Come in toward the woman of your brother, and yabam1192 אֶת-her, and cause to stand up a seed to your brother.`

Strong’s #2992, yabam. This verb is formed from the word meaning brother-in-law (husband’s brother) #2993. Hence the interpretation of “perform the duty of a husband’s brother”.
