Psalms 42:2

Like a stag, she is yearning against channels of dual water; thus she, the soul of myself, is yearning toward yourself, mighty ones!1

איל chief/leader/ram/pillar/stag is as masculine of a noun as it gets. Yet scholars say this one instance is feminine, because of the presence of the feminine verb following. But as it is a comparison being made, it is not necessary to change the word or meaning.
