Genesis 34:9

And make-yourselves-bridegrooms1067 את-us. Give to-ourselves אֶת-your built-ones, and our built-ones take to-yourselves.

Strong’s #2859, chathan. Found in the Hithpa’el form only. To make oneself a “daughter’s husband”, bridegroom. This is derived from the noun chathan (#2860) which means bridegroom. The word is also used of the father-in-law, i.e. Jethro.
