And they are speaking toward himself, "What are we are making to yourself, and the Sea is silencing from against ourselves?" For the Sea is he who walks and whirlwinds.
Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And they will say to him, What shall we do to thee and the sea shall subside from you? For the sea went and tossed about.
LITV Translation:
And they said to him, What shall we do to you that the sea may be calm from on us? For the sea was going on and being stormy.
Brenton Septuagint Translation:
And they said to him, What shall we do to thee, that the sea may be calm to us? for the sea rose, and lifted its wave exceedingly.
