John 19:16

Τότε οὖν παρέδωκεν αὐτὸν αὐτοῖς ἵνα σταυρωθῇ. Παρέλαβον δὲ τὸν Ἰησοῦν καὶ ἤγαγον·

RBT Translation:

The Left Hand takes hold, associates him with themselves

Therefore, at that time, he handed over himself to themselves so that he might be staked. Therefore, they associated the Salvation.

παραλαμβάνω means "to receive near, i.e. associate with oneself" (Thayer's Greek Lexicon)
