And Drawn Out ("Moses") is saying, I am turning aside, pray, and I am seeing the self eternal Mega Mirror,4 this one. For what reason is the Bramble not being fed upon?5
Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And Moses will say, I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bramble will not burn.
LITV Translation:
And Moses said, I will turn aside now and see this great sight, why the thorn bush is not burned up.
Brenton Septuagint Translation:
And Moses said, I will go near and see this great sight, why the bush is not consumed.

יבער is in the incomplete and thus it can be the Qal active "he is consuming" or Niphal passive "he is being consumed/eaten up". The primary/original meaning is not that of burning but "to feed upon/consume." Cf Gesenius:
