RBT Paraphrase:
Neqevah - Female - "Pierced One"
And if she is making to myself a place of slaughter out of stones, you are not building their eternal selves out of shaped stones, for you are swinging the sword of yourself against herself and you are piercing her!14
Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And if thou shalt make to me an altar of stones, thou shalt not build them, cutting, for didst thou lift up thy sword upon it, and thou shalt defile it. 26And thou shalt not go up by steps upon mine altar, that thou shalt not uncover thy nakedness upon it.
LITV Translation:
And if you make an altar of stone for Me, you shall not build them of cut stones. When you swing your tool on it, you defile it.
Brenton Septuagint Translation:
And if thou wilt make to me an altar of stones, thou shalt not build them hewn stones; for thou hast lifted up thy tool upon them, and they are defiled.
