Acts 6:7

Καὶ ὁ λόγος τοῦ Θεοῦ ηὔξανε, καὶ ἐπληθύνετο ὁ ἀριθμὸς τῶν μαθητῶν ἐν Ἱερουσαλὴμ σφόδρα, πολύς τε ὄχλος τῶν ἱερέων ὑπήκουον τῇ πίστει.

πληθύνω - make multiple, ‘plurify’

And the Word of the God kept increasing/growing strong, and the Number of the Learners kept multiplying within Foundation of Peace ("Jerusalem") fiercely much; even a multitude of the Priests kept heeding/giving ear to the Trust.

Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And the word of God increased: and the number of disciples was multiplied greatly in Jerusalem; and a great crowd of priests listened to the faith.

LITV Translation:
And the Word of God was increasing, and the number of the disciples in Jerusalem was multiplying exceedingly. Even a great crowd of the priests were attending to the faith!
