The feminine form of hero in Hebrew is ื’ื™ื‘ื•ึนืจื” or ื’ื‘ื•ึนืจื” (giborah), derived from the word ื’ื‘ื•ึนืจ (gibor), which means "hero" or "warrior."

  • ื’ื‘ื•ึนืจ (gibor) – "hero," "warrior," or "mighty man" (masculine).
  • ื’ื™ื‘ื•ึนืจึธื” (giborah) – the feminine form, meaning "heroine" or "mighty woman."

It is a straightfoward translation, especially keeping inline with her masculine counterpart the gibor. But scholars wouldn't allow such words, and thus they chose abstract concepts for the feminine as often as they were able. That is, when a word pertained to the masculine, it meant "warrior" or "mighty man" but when it pertained to the feminine, it was merely, "valor" or "might."
