Esau or Jacob?
Who from out of the Two made the Desire of the Father? They are saying, 'the Latter One.' The Salvation is saying to themselves, "Trustworthy One, I am saying to yourselves that the Tax Farmers and the Prostitutes are leading ahead of yourselves into the Queen of the God!"41
Genesis 33
A scene of the order of crossing over is depicted by Jacob, who crossed to their faces. Jacob ("Heel Chaser") then puts the two maid-slaves and their children as First, and Weary ("Leah") and her children behind, and Ewe ("Rachel") and Joseph ("He Adds") as the last ones to "come in." A crossing over of eternity.
Which of the two did the father's will? They say to him, The first. Jesus says to them, Truly I say to you, that publicans and harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.
Which of the two did the will of the father? They said to Him, The first. Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, the tax collectors and the harlots go before you into the kingdom of God.
Footnotes
| 41 | Mat 21:31 Earliest authoritative manuscripts have the Latter/Last One not "the First One": ΚΑΤΑ ΜΑΤΘΑΙΟΝ 21:31 Greek NT: Nestle 1904 ΚΑΤΑ ΜΑΤΘΑΙΟΝ 21:31 Greek NT: Westcott and Hort 1881 Tradition made quite the saying of tax farmers and prostitutes entering "the kingdom" before anyone else. This is as backwards as it gets. |
