The name  ื™ืจืžื™ื”ื• (Yirmeyahu) or ื™ืจืžื™ื” (Yirmiyah) in Hebrew is derived from the Hebrew root ืจืžื”, which means "to raise," "to lift up," or "to exalt." The word is used in teh context of "raising up" the "ark of Noah" and the "ark of the covenant." The name ื™ืจืžื™ื”ื• (Yirmeyahu) is composed of two parts:

  1. ื™ืจืžื™ื” (Yirmiyah): This is the main part of the name and contains the root ืจืžื” (r-m-h). The prefix ื™ึด (yod) is a common prefix in Hebrew names, and in the case of verbs is generally used of third person masculine singular, he is raising up.

  2. ื”ื•ึผ (hu): This is a suffix that can be added to names in Hebrew, often to indicate the third person possessive form, meaning "him/himself."

Therefore, ื™ืจืžื™ื”ื•ึผ (Yirmeyahu) can be understood as "He is raising/lifting up/exalting himself"

Where as ื™ืจืžื™ื” can be understood as "He is raising up/exalting"
