RBT Translation:
And the Man of the Spear marveled if he has already died, and he who has summoned close beside to self the Captain of a Hundred, asked himself if long ago he died.
Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And Pilate wondered if he were already dead: and having called the centurion, he asked him if he had been dead long ago.
LITV Translation:
And Pilate marveled if He had already died. And calling the centurion near, he asked him if He died already.
