Luke 9:62

Εἶπε δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς πρὸς αὐτόν, Οὐδείς, ἐπιβαλὼν τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ἐπ᾽ ἄροτρον, καὶ βλέπων εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω, εὔθετός ἐστιν εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ Θεοῦ.

Furthermore, in a boxing context—as seen in Pausanias 6.10.2 and Philostratus’ Gymnasticus—the term is used metaphorically to refer to a forceful blow, likely drawing on the image of a plow’s striking motion.
