Καὶ εἶπον πρὸς ἀλλήλους, Οὐχὶ ἡ καρδία ἡμῶν καιομένη ἦν ἐν ἡμῖν, ὡς ἐλάλει ἡμῖν ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ, καὶ ὡς διήνοιγεν ἡμῖν τὰς γραφάς;
RBT Translation:
And they said toward one another,"Was not the Heart of ourselves being her who is kindling/setting on fire within ourselves, just like he kept chatting to ourselves within the Road, just like he was kept opening across the Writings to ourselves?
Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And they said to one another, Was not our heart burning in us, as he spake to us in the way, and as he opened the writings to us.
LITV Translation:
And they said to one another, Was not our heart burning in us as He spoke to us in the highway, and as He opened up to us the Scriptures?
