RBT Translation:
and he is saying He Is your eternal self you have pitied upon/against the thin inner wafer which not you labored in himself and not made himself grow whose son her night he has become and a son her night he has perished
RBT Paraphrase:
Your Inner Selves are Black as Night, Dead.
And He Is is saying, "You have pitied your eternal self on account of the thin inner wafer, whom you did not labor within himself, and did not make himself grow, him whose son has become of a night of herself, and a son of a night of herself has perished!"
Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And Jehovah will say, Thou didst spare for the gourd, which thou didst not labor for it, and thou didst not cause it to grow; it was the youth of a night, and the son of a night perished. 11And shall I not spare for Nineveh the great city which there is in it more than one hundred and twenty thousand men which knew not between his right hand to his left, and many cattle?
LITV Translation:
And Jehovah said, You have had pity on the plant for which you had not labored, nor made it grow, which was the son of a night and perished the son of a night,
Brenton Septuagint Translation:
And the Lord said, Thou hadst pity on the gourd, for which thou hast not suffered, neither didst thou rear it; which came up before night, and perished before another night:
