Ἐκεῖνος ἦν ὁ λύχνος ὁ καιόμενος καὶ φαίνων, ὑμεῖς δὲ ἠθελήσατε ἀγαλλιαθῆναι πρὸς ὥραν ἐν τῷ φωτὶ αὐτοῦ.
RBT Translation:
That one was being the Candle-Lamp, the one who kindles and the one who brings to light. And you, yourselves, desired to leap for joy toward an hour within the Daylight of himself.

And a firebrand is climbing up from the earth and he has given drink to the eternal self whole of the faces of the Ground of Adam ("Adamah").

He was a burning and manifest light: and ye wished to rejoice for a time in his light.
LITV Translation:
That one was the burning and shining lamp, and you were willing to exult in his light for an hour.
