Ὅτε οὖν εἶδον αὐτὸν οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ οἱ ὑπηρέται, ἐκραύγασαν λέγοντες, Σταύρωσον, σταύρωσον αὐτόν. Λέγει αὐτοῖς ὁ Πιλάτος, Λάβετε αὐτὸν ὑμεῖς καὶ σταυρώσατε· ἐγὼ γὰρ οὐχ εὑρίσκω ἐν αὐτῷ αἰτίαν.
RBT Translation:
When therefore the Arch Priests perceived himself, and the Under-rowers, they howled, those who are saying, Stake! Stake!
To Drive Stakes.

σταυρόω, to fence with stakes, drive down stakes, fortify with stakes, palisade. Cf. Strongs #4717.

The Man of the Spear is saying to themselves, "You, yourselves take hold of himself and stake! For I, myself am not finding within self cause!"

When therefore the chief priests and attendants saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify, crucify. Pilate says to them, Take ye him, and crucify; for I find no fault in him.
LITV Translation:
Then when the chief priests and the under-officers saw Him, they cried out, saying, Crucify! Crucify! Pilate said to them, You take him and crucify him , for I do not find one crime in him!
