Place of Zechariah's Blood
In between the Porch and to the place of sacrifice the Priests they are weeping, those who minister He Is and they are saying "Have pity He Is upon the people of yourself! Do not give the inheritance of yourself to a public humiliation/reproach, the nations to rule in themselves! Why are they saying within the peoples, Where is the mighty ones of themselves?
Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
Between the porch and to the altar the priests serving Jehovah shall weep, and they shall say, Spare, O Jehovah, thy people, and thou wilt not give thine inheritance to reproach for the nations to rule over them: wherefore shall they say among the peoples, Where is their God?
LITV Translation:
Let the priests, ministers of Jehovah, weep between the porch and the altar; and let them say, Have pity on Your people, O Jehovah, and do not give Your inheritance to shame, for a proverb among those of the nations. Why should they say among the peoples, Where is their God?
Brenton Septuagint Translation:
Between the porch and the altar let the priests that minister to the Lord weep, and say, Spare thy people, O Lord, and give not thy heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them, lest they should say among the heathen, Where is their God?
