James 4:2

Ἐπιθυμεῖτε, καὶ οὐκ ἔχετε· φονεύετε καὶ ζηλοῦτε, καὶ οὐ δύνασθε ἐπιτυχεῖν· μάχεσθε καὶ πολεμεῖτε, οὐκ ἔχετε διὰ τὸ μὴ αἰτεῖσθαι ὑμᾶς·

You are longing for/coveting and you are not holding; you are murdering and admiring emulously, and you have no power to hit the mark; you are fighting and waging war, and you do not hold because of the Not Asking of Yourselves.

Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
Ye eagerly desire, and have not: ye kill, and are zealous, and cannot succeed: ye fight and wage war, and ye have not, because ye ask not.

LITV Translation:
You desire greatly and do not have. You murder, and are jealous, and are not able to obtain. You fight and you war, and you do not have, because you do not ask God .
