To turn away the judgment of the powerless, and to strip off judgment of the distressed of my people, for widows to be their plunder, and they will plunder orphans.
LITV Translation:
to keep back the poor from judgment, and to steal justice from the poor of My people; that widows may be their prey; that they may rob orphans.
Brenton Septuagint Translation:
perverting the cause of the poor, violently wresting the judgment of the needy ones of my people, that the widow may be a prey to them, and the orphan a spoil.
