And the queen Vashti will refuse to come in at the word of the king which was by the hand of the eunuchs: and the king will be angry greatly, and his wrath burnt in him.

But Vashti the queen refused to come at the king's command by his eunuchs. And the king was very angry, and his fury burned within him.
Brenton Septuagint Translation:
But queen Vashti hearkened not to him to come with the chamberlains: so the king was grieved and angered.
