Acts 8:26

Ἄγγελος δὲ Κυρίου ἐλάλησε πρὸς Φίλιππον, λέγων, Ἀνάστηθι καὶ πορεύου κατὰ μεσημβρίαν ἐπὶ τὴν ὁδὸν τὴν καταβαίνουσαν ἀπὸ Ἱερουσαλὴμ εἰς Γάζαν· αὕτη ἐστὶν ἔρημος.

A Lonesome Road

And an angel of a master chattered toward Horse Lover, he who is saying, "Stand up and lead across toward noon/midday on the Road, the one who is climbing down away from Foundation of Peace into Stronghold. She, herself is a deserted one.

Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And a messenger of the Lord spake to Philip, saying, Arise, and go at noon in the way going down from Jerusalem to Gaza, (this is desert.)

LITV Translation:
But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, Rise up and go along south on the highway going down to Jerusalem to Gaza. This is a deserted place .
