ἔφη τε πρὸς αὐτούς, Ὑμεῖς ἐπίστασθε ὡς ἀθέμιτόν ἐστιν ἀνδρὶ Ἰουδαίῳ κολλᾶσθαι ἢ προσέρχεσθαι ἀλλοφύλῳ· καὶ ἐμοὶ ὁ Θεὸς ἔδειξε μηδένα κοινὸν ἢ ἀκάθαρτον λέγειν ἄνθρωπον·

ἀθέμιτος - Illegal, Illicit (contrary to established law, custom, or divine/social order.)

And he kept bringing to light toward themselves: "You, yourselves stand upon how illegal it is for a Caster man to unite with or to approach a foreign tribe. And to myself, the God pointed out to call no man common or uncleansed!"

Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
And he said to them, Ye know that it is violating law for a man a Jew to join himself, or come near to a strange tribe: and God shewed me to call no man common or unclean.

LITV Translation:
And he said to them, You know how unlawful it is for a man, a Jew, to unite with or to come near to one of another race. Yet God showed to me not to call a man common or unclean.
