Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
Behold, this day thine eyes saw that Jehovah gave thee this day into my hand in the cave: and it was said to kill thee; and it had pity upon thee, and saying, I will not stretch forth my hand against my lord, for he is Jehovah's Messiah.
LITV Translation:
See, this day your eyes have seen how Jehovah has delivered you today into my hand in the cave. And one said to kill you, but I had pity on you. And I said, I shall not put out my hand against my lord, for he is the anointed of Jehovah.
Brenton Septuagint Translation:
And David said to Saul, Why dost thou hearken to the words of the people, saying, Behold, David seeks thy life?
